Bloomberg NEF: “Offsetting Plastic Pollution with Credits”

A recent report by BloombergNEF highlights that plastic credits are “emerging as a tool to close the funding gap to address plastic pollution.” The report, which is available to Bloomberg terminal subscribers, notes that over 40% of plastics consumed globally are mismanaged, largely due to poor collection infrastructure - and a significant proportion ends up in the environment.
